When building its new offices in Kingston, Jamaica, the telecommunications operator Digicel wanted to implement green technologies for supplying its building.
Besides a wind turbine and photovoltaics of other suppliers, solar thermal was implemented by SOLID at large scale on top of the roofs of the food court and of the ancillary building.
Now cooling contributes the major part of green energy to the building and helps Digicel saving significant electricity cost.
