SOLID's Sabine Putz is solar heat woman of the month
She was awarded this title by www.solarthermalworld.org
Our very own Sabine Putz received a special honour this month. She became the solar heat woman of the month October of solarthermalworld.org. Solarthermalworld.org is the go-to platform for advocacy, policy shaping, knowledge sharing, technology trends and business opportunities in the solar heating and cooling sector. With the solar heat woman of the month award solarthermalworld.org wants to highlight outstanding woman which are contributing to the change of the world’s heating sector from fossils towards the warmth of the sun. Sabine Putz was operating agent of Task 55 "Integrating Large SHC Systems into DHC Networks" of the Solar Heating and Cooling Programme of the International Energy Agency (IEA SHC). Task 55 brought together industry and science for discussing the sector's challenges and in order to launch common projects.
Sabine Putz has just recently taken up the position as chair of the horizontal working group of RHC Europe tasked with the development of a roadmap supporting the decarbonization of urban districts across Europe. For many years she was our head of R&D and now as a senior manager she tirelessly works on promoting solar thermal around the EU. We congratulate her very much on her achievements.
