With two posters and two presentations, SOLID had a strong presence at the conference. One poster highlighted the paradigm shift in the district heating supply for European cities and options for the integration of solar energy into district heating networks. The other poster presented findings on the world’s most powerful solar cooling system operation – the Desert Mountain High School - in the United States (as reported).
Key topics discussed around the poster sessions were the energy future in Europe, new opportunities in new markets, or the global removal of market barriers.

The subsequent first presentation from SOLID focused on results of the IEA SHC task 45, subtask C: systems - configurations, operating strategies, and financing issues. The second presentation from SOLID was on smart heat supply in Austria within the PITAGORAS project.
At least two papers from SOLID will be published within the conference journal Energy Proceda by 2016 to further communicate findings on recent projects and future opportunities.
