SOLID Partner Meeting - Best practice exchange for future collaborations

Partnermeeting 2014/S.O.L.I.D.

Glocal - SOLID is the anchor of a worldwide, professional solar thermal partner network. At the end June 2014, 18 partners from Germany, the US, Croatia, Poland, Singapore, France and Austria met to exchange Know-How around last year’s business development. One central focus was set on solar thermal plants´ huge market potential and new technical as well as contract opportunities.
Partners identify market potentials for solar thermal plants and are important local business cooperators. They act independently and on a commission basis, extending their regular business with high quality solar thermal plants and services from SOLID.

SOLID has started to develop its professional worldwide partner network years ago. It was clear that great business partners can add a lot to a company. SOLID is still constantly looking for new international partners to promote and sell its solar thermal plants and technologies.
International partners, SOLID´s CEOs, project developers and students from the Technical University of Graz met between the 23rd and 25th of June 2014 at SOLID´s headquarter in Graz. Besides discussions and presentations, attendees participated in a newly designed workshop. In this workshop, partners developed strategies for future project acquisitions. Within the next year, partners will extend their activities and collaboration based on a lot of meeting impulses.

SOLID´s international partners fill the gap between worldwide operations, local know-how and local market requirements. Local contact people and business partners communicate a strong local presence to potential customers while the company is working at an international level - act local, be global. Therefore, SOLID is looking for new partners to extend its network within and outside Europe. Partners are essential contributors to business success and benefit from renewable energy’s positive image.

Basic requirements:
•    Partners are fair and negotiate successfully
•    Partners can identify potentials for use of renewable energy
•    Partners understand technical and financial aspects of solar thermal plants
•    Partners communicate successfully
•    Partners know the huge market potential for energy innovations within their regions
