Awards in 2012 for Sabine Putz, S.O.L.I.D.´s R&D Department Head
In the year 2012, Sabine Putz was awarded as FEMtech expert in July, won the Woman Award in the category „We storm technical jobs!“ for 2012 and was nominated as one of the three best „Women for environmental technologies“ of the Ögut-Environmental price 2012.
Since 2009, Sabine Putz is research and development department head for S.O.L.I.D. In this position, she succeeded in various projects and challenges, which are now officially appreciated by different awards. Beside 15 national and international research projects, Sabine Putz also increased the number of employees in her department up to 10.
FEMtech is an initiative of the federal ministry for traffic, innovation and technology. To uncover women´s achievements within technology and research activities, a highly ranked interdisciplinary jury chooses from the FEMtech expert database one expert for research and development per month as „FEMtech-Expert of the month”. Sabine Putz won this award in July as Solarthermal Technology Expert.
In November followed a second award. Sabine Putz won the Woman Award 2012 in the category „We storm technical jobs“. Women get awarded for being very successful within technology and development projects. The Woman Award was supported by the federal ministry for traffic, innovation and technology for women, who are very successful also from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Another success was Sabine Putz´s nomination for the Ögut-Environment Award 2012: „Women in environmental technologies“. The nomination beside many other applicants emphasizes the commitment and appraisal for Sabine Putz´s past success. As a goal, Sabine Putz wants to strengthen and widespread solar thermal technologies. This can be reached by worldwide lectures and leading workshops, which are a central contribution to S.O.L.I.D.´s success.
