Hoh, visited S.O.L.I.D. to discuss solar technology and recent experiences of S.O.L.I.D. in the US market.
Franz Radovic and Christian Holter gave a presentation highlighting the existing projects in Arizona for solar cooling, hot water and process heat as well as the installation on two dorms of Harvard real estate.An important focus in the meeting were the hurdles and reasons for the low dissemination of commercial solar heating and cooling in the U.S.

 

Actually there might be a kickback soon as the ITC grant is expiring by December 31st 2010 and still there is high uncertainty if the grant will be extended.

S.O.L.I.D. offered the U.S. embassy full support in all matters for solar thermal, especially legislation.
